The RIDGID 53068 MR-10 Magnetic Locator with Case is a highly sensitive handheld locator specifically designed to detect the magnetic field from ferrous objects, such as buried curb stops, property markers, valve boxes, manhole or vault covers, well casings, and other iron and steel objects.
The locator responds to the difference in the magnetic field strength between two sensors. The Magnetic Locator provides an audio signal, and visual indications of both signal strength and polarity on detecting presence of a ferrous object.
